Grayson Moyer, son of our fourth grade teacher Theresa Moyer, is a prospective Eagle Scout. He decided for his eagle project that he wanted to build an outdoor learning center in the courtyard of our school. That is exactly what he is working on and we are so excited! His project will center around a music wall that will allow the younger students to practice basic rhythm and music skills. There will also be various games such as tic-tac-toe and hopscotch painted along the sidewalks. Also, they are refreshing the wooden deck, landscaping the raised gardens, and pressure washing the concrete surfaces to make it beautiful. There will be painted stones with alphabets to help our kids practice letter recognition and working with letters. We are so grateful to this group and our Kindergarten friends are going to be so delighted with the finished product!
